Club Founder ~ Mike Billings
Mike Billings moved from
New Orleans, Louisiana to the Santa Barbara area in 2002. A very
active member of the New Orleans Parrot Head Club before relocating to
California, Mike actively sought out local Parrot Heads by initially
joining the Left Coast Parrot Head Club and Los Angeles Parrot Head
Club. However, it wasn't long before Mike began to contact other
Parrot Heads in the Santa Barbara area and set forth working on
establishing The Santa Barbara Parrot Head Club.
Initial Founders of the
Club included: Mike & Peg Billings, Jack Stafford, Andrew Nixon, Janet
Swain and Steve Gowdy.
In September, 2006, Mike
relocated to Baton Rouge, Louisiana...where he is currently involved with
the Baton Rouge & New Orleans Parrot Head Clubs and is a Executive
